Brian Cox joins Tell-Tale - SendMeRSS

Written by Lucas C Haberstich

As much as I loved Dewey, Brian remains my favorite Cox.  B-D has announced that Brian Cox (Rushmore, Super Troopers) will join Josh Lucas in the cast of the horror/thriller, Tell-Tale, from Hyde Parks.  The movie, a modern day telling of Edgar Allan Poe's "The Tell-Tale Heart", stars Lucas as the recent recipient of a transplanted heart that leads him on a journey to find out who murdered its donor.

The film is to be directed by Michael Cuesta, no stranger to blood pumps and detached limbs as the director for the bulk of Dexter's first season. Cuesta's also no stranger to Brian Cox, having worked with the BC on his 2001 directorial debut, the hard R-rated teen drama L.I.E.

It seems a sure bet that Cox will be playing the killer in this one, based on the limited number of characters involved, though no official role has been named.  Shooting is scheduled for this March in Rhode Island.
