Shia LaBeouf Confirms ‘Raiders’ Link, Apologizes To Spielberg - SendMeRSS

Nearly three weeks ago, an official photo from “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” seemed to confirm to legions of fans that the intrepid archeologist was heading back to the government warehouse from “Raiders of the Lost Ark.”

Forget seems (I know not seems). He most certainly is, “Indy” co-star Shia LaBeouf told MTV News, and it’s “crazy!”

“Crazy! I don’t know what else to say,” LaBeouf geeked at being invited into the reconstructed set. “It’s crazy and unbelievable.”

Which is all easy enough for the 21-year-old star to say now, he laughingly admitted, considering that at the time he filmed HIS scene there he didn’t quite have the capacity for speech.

“It’s almost like you’re reflecting while you’re in the middle of it. Because you know you’re gonna be telling your kids this, so you’re in the middle of it going ‘Oh, my god, let me get every detail, how many buttons are on that shirt?’” he confessed. “You’re really interested in the details of it. It’s wild to experience.”

Not just wild. For LaBeouf, filming in such an iconic location was the gift that keeps on giving. No, literally. We might not know what brings Indy to the warehouse, but we know now what Shia brought from it.

“Oh I stole a bunch of stuff,” he laughed. “I meant to tell you, Steve, I stole a bunch of things. So did Karen [Allen] though, so it’s not my fault. It’s not my fault – Karen did it too. And she’s older! She knows better.”

So do we…a little bit anyway. But the biggest mystery still remains: What the heck is Indy doing in the warehouse? Sound off on your theories below.

judging by the "hat hint" at the end of the most recent Indiana Jones, it seems pretty obvious that Shia LaBeouf will be the next Indy
