Hank Azaria, the voice of many Simpsons characters and Showtime's titular Huff, has added two more movies to his busy 2008 schedule. The Hollywood Reporter announced the addition of Azaria to Night at the Museum 2: Escape From The Smithsonian for Fox and Columbia Pictures' The Year One this morning.
Azaria joins Ben Stiller and Amy Adams in the cast of Night At The Museum 2, the sequel to Fox's 2006 all-ages family blockbuster, playing an all-powerful Egyptian pharaoh named Kah Mun Rah. The comedic actor has previously worked with Stiller on Mystery Men, Along Came Polly, and Dodgeball.
Meanwhile, The Year One will bring Hank Azaria into producer Judd Apatow's extended family of funny people. The Harold Ramis-directed comedy stars Jack Black and Michael Cera as regular guys during biblical times. Azaria will portray Abraham, the Bible's father of many. His Huff co-star Oliver Platt is also on-board.
Both films are slated for 2009 releases.
