The Taylor Hackford indie drama set in a Nevada brothel has added three more to its cast. Gina Gershon, Bryan Cranston, and Scout Taylor-Compton join Joe Pesci and Helen Mirren for The Love Ranch, says HR.
Based on real events, the film centers on a married couple who open the first legal brothel in Nevada. Gina Gershon and Scout Taylor-Compton play a veteran and a newcomer who work at the ranch where the owners (Mirren and Pesci) are involved in a dangerous love triangle. Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) will play a state senator entangled in the affair.
It's good to see Bryan Cranston breaking out of the Malcolm In The Middle ghetto and that Joe Pesci is still working. Taylor Hackford has directed some great dramas and this one has a fair chance of making that list. Passion and Betrayal at a Brothel wouldn't be a bad title, either.
