Following the major success this past weekend of J.J. Abrams' monster movie Cloverfield, Hasbro has decided to sell action figures of the rarely seen creature that ravages New York City. Photos of the figure are not available yet, but according to Variety,
The 14-inch figure is being aimed at the collectible crowd and will include sound, two interchangeable heads (one each for the monster's "calm or agitated" moods), 10 parasites and the head of the Statue of Liberty.
How much would you be willing to spend for such a potentially valuable and entertaining item? As much as $100? Because that's what it's already going for on Hasbro's website. The actual toys won't ship until September 30th (you read that right, eight months from now). So start saving your lunch money, kids 4 and up, as well as man-children 40 and sad.
