Timothy Olyphant, the hard-gazing star of HBO's Deadwood, will star in an upcoming thriller from Relativity Media, reports the hollywoodreporter. Written and directed by David Twohy, A Perfect Getaway sees Olyphant play a newlywed whose Hawaiian honeymoon becomes a nightmare when he and his bride are stalked by two killers.
David Twohy can write a decent script (The Fugitive) and I am glad to see no sci-fi elements (Riddick) apparent in this one. It seems like a basic enough storyline that could play out in any number of ways. I would like it to involve the interrupted honeymooner focusing his vengeance/anger into a fine laser and using it to carve the worst of insults (also Riddick) in the would-be killers' foreheads.Link - Thu, 17 Jan 2008 04:32:00 GMT - Feed (1 subs)
