Hey everyone! Below, check out an awesome look at an Incredible Hulk Hulk display from a toy fair in Germany!
Before we get to the pictures, I have to say that one thing that I'm finding odd is: Why have there been no previews or advertising so far for The Incredible Hulk? I'm starting to get worried, but not because I think it'll stink - actually, I think we're in for a great movie so far. What I'm worried about is that Marvel isn't getting the word out enough.
It's been five years since the Hulk movie, so why not re-educate the masses that this isn't their older brother's (and sister's) Hulk? My one tiny thought is that maybe the studio is contemplating that the film's release date will be pushed back. It's just a theory, so don't count it as gospel, please! But I think we'll be seeing a lot of release date shuffling in the coming months.
Be warned, I suppose you could consider the images below spoilers since they show what he will look like.
For the record, I thought The Hulk had its moments, but overall, it was boring and not that great. My favorite part was when Bruce Banner (Eric Bana) was getting beaten up by Talbot (Josh Lucas), turns into the Hulk and kicks butt! What nerdy geek wouldn't wish he could "Hulk out" when getting picked on?
The images below are appearing on some other sites, but Vic has applied his skills to sharpening them and adjusting the color to a more Hulkish green. They were taken with a camera phone and were a bit blurry and tended towards the purple end of the color spectrum.
Wow, that thing is killer! That last image gives a great sense of scale as well. This is probably one of the best looks at the Hulk so far, and I'm really getting pumped about it.
The Incredible Hulk is currently scheduled to open on June 13, 2008.
