Move over, Harry Potter — the “Twilight” phenomenon is at its peak! You’ve read the whole series, you’ve been religiously checking for updates on the film, and you’ve even been re-reading the novels while trying to imagine Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson lip-locked in Bella and Edward’s forbidden kiss.
But in your most fanatical fantasies did you ever think you could go from being a crazed vampire groupie to an actual, blood-sucking onscreen co-star?
It sounds too good to be true, but believe it or not, the producers behind the now-filming flick are offering “Twilight” fans and vampire wannabes in the Oregon area the chance to work on the film’s set. They need extras, photo doubles and stand-ins (you could be Edward’s clone! OMG!) at an open casting call this Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at their Portland offices.
Up until now, you’ve been following such “Twilight” castings as Kristen Stewart, Anna Kendrick, Cam Cigandet and Nikki Reed. Maybe next week we could be announcing you!
The “Twilight” filmmakers are looking mainly to cast teens and young adults, ages 14-24, with a wide range of looks and flexible schedules.
